On 3rd October, 2025, SIMBA Ghana welcomed Inusah Abdul Fatawu as an intern, marking the beginning of a transformative learning journey marked by growth, curiosity, and meaningful contribution.

Since joining the organisation, Inusah has demonstrated remarkable commitment and enthusiasm in his role as a youth advocate and emerging development professional. Through active participation in meetings, community outreaches, and programme activities, he has gained practical exposure to grassroots advocacy while contributing positively to SIMBA Ghana’s mission of promoting accountability and social development.

A key area of growth during Inusah’s internship has been education advocacy. His engagement with SIMBA Ghana’s education-focused interventions has deepened his understanding of the challenges students face, particularly in underserved communities. These experiences have strengthened his passion for advocating for quality, inclusive, and accessible education, and have reinforced the importance of sustained citizen voice in improving educational outcomes.

Inusah has also built strong technical capacity in data analysis during his internship. Through hands-on training and application, he has acquired foundational skills in SPSS, enabling him to analyse data confidently and generate insights that support evidence-based decision-making. This skill set continues to enhance his contribution to monitoring, learning, and advocacy processes within the organisation.

SIMBA Ghana is grateful for Inusah’s dedication, willingness to learn, and positive attitude. His progress reflects the organisation’s commitment to nurturing young professionals and building the next generation of development leaders. We look forward to his continued growth and contributions as he advances through his internship journey.

Inusah Abdul Fatawu is currently an intern with SIMBA Ghana and a youth advocate with a growing interest in education advocacy, research, and data-driven decision-making.
